Enjoy a healthy Killer Kale Salad, recipe courtesy of Cassidy Van Vooren.
- Himalayan salt (or regular salt)
- lemon juice (equal to two lemons)
- olive oil
- Mozzarella cheese (or another preference)
Cut the stems off the kale, then wash the stemless kale thoroughly. Tear the kale into medium-small pieces. Throw the stemless kale into a bowl.
Add about one tablespoon of salt, and massage it into the kale for about a minute.
Add two lemon’s worth of lemon juice, and massage it into the kale for another minute or until the kale properly absorbs the juice.
Add olive oil, and massage it into the kale for another minute.
Remember to test the kale with each new added ingredient to make sure the flavors balance out.
Add chopped carrots and sliced tomatoes to the bowl.
