The Escondido Downtown Business Association will be partnering with local restaurants to host “For the Love of Chocolate” from 1pm and 5pm on Saturday, February 9th.
Restaurants will be pairing gourmet chocolate with wine and craft beer just in time for Valentine’s Day. Take a walk up and down the streets of Downtown Escondido and stop at the 20+ participating locations.
Tickets prices are $40 with alcohol, and $30 without alcohol if purchased by 5pm on February 8th. Tickets will be $10 more if purchased on the day of the event. Alcohol tasting tickets include complementary long stemmed roses, a horse drawn carriage ride, a glass blowing demonstration, and a raffle drawing.
Aside from the tastings, there is an optional chocolate making class for $25. This class will be hosted Dayleen Coleman of D’lightful Chocolat, a San Marcos based artisan chocolate company.
For the Love of Chocolate makes a great Valentine’s Day date or a fun day out with friends. A portion of the proceeds from this event will be used to promote the businesses of Downtown Escondido. The festival has been a hit in the past so don’t miss out!
